Can my daughter play down (at a lower level than her age would dictate)? Yes, WUSA does permit girls to "play down" one level on special request. The board reviews each request on a case-by-case basis and generally grants permission for younger ages as long as playing abilities are in line with the lower league. This situation becomes less common at older ages.
Requests to play down should be done at registration time in the "Notes" section of the online registration form.
