West University Softball Association requires all Board members, managers and coaches who have repetitive access to, or contact with players or teams, to fill out the WUSA Volunteer Application Form. All parents who assist the manager as a coach must provide the completed application to the manager before any activities involving contact with any players.
WUSA will conduct background checks of all volunteers completing the form to screen out persons with histories of crimes or other activities revealed by background checks that indicate that they may put children at risk and/or are not suitable for interaction with youth sports programs. Anyone who fails to complete and submit the required form will not be allowed to participate as a manager or coach. We sincerely appreciate all the time and effort that our volunteer parents give to the benefit of our children.
