Practice and Game Fields:
Fields adjacent to West University Elementary School:
- Sonny Ahrens Field is located at West University Elementary School behind the rear playground, farthest from Edloe Street (see picture below).
- Jackie Gilbert Field (4-A) is located at West University School adjacent to Edloe Street (see picture below).
- Field 4-B is the "partner" field with Gilbert Field, behind the Scout House (see picture below).
- A WUSA batting cage is located on the Auden Street side of West University Elementary School (see picture below).
Field at McGovern Park:
The WUSA field is located across the street from Pershing Middle School at the corner of Blue Bonnet Blvd. and Braes Blvd. (see picture below).
Fields at South Campus:
WUSA fields are located between Emery Weiner School and St. Catherine's Montessori. Take Stella Link South past Loop 610. Turn left on Link Valley and then right on Timberside (or turn left on the South Loop access road and then turn right on Timberside). The parking lot for the WUSA fields is located on your right as you approach St. Catherine's. (See picture below.)
A WUSA batting cage is located across from the West U Library on Auden (adjacent to the West U Little League fields) . WUSA batting cages are also located at South Campus adjacent to each field.
Breakaway Sports is located at 8715 West Loop South, Ste. E (across the street from Meyerland Plaza and adjacent to Lowes and Hobby Lobby.
Bellaire Mulberry Park is located at 700 Mulberry Street between Bellaire Blvd. and Bissonnet Street (just across the RR tracks from West U.
Bellaire Bayland Park is located at 6400 Bissonnet Street just west of Hillcroft (about a 20-25 minute drive from West U). |
