The West U 12U Wave finished its summer season with a 2nd place finish at the FASA World Series held July 9-12, 2015, in Cleveland, Texas. The Wave played 10 games in two days going 8 and 2, including 6 games on the final day winning 5 elimination games before falling one run short in the championship game 6-5. During the weekend, the Wave outscored their opponents 39 to 13 in regulation play with shut-down pitching and a balanced offensive attack combining power hitting, tactical small ball, and aggressive base running. In all, the Wave played in seven tournaments during the summer, amassing a record of 38 wins versus only 8 losses. The team finished with two championships in USFA and NIT qualifiers, two 2nd place trophies, and a 3rd place finish at the USFA State Tournament in Beaumont that included a field of 33 teams.
